About the Artist:
Rowena was born in Alice Springs and grew up in Santa Teresa. She has two sisters and one brother who are all living here. She finished school and went to work in the office. She then worked in the shop for a long time. At the moment Rowena is caring for her mother and is painting for Keringke on a regular basis. She sometimes paints stories about gumtrees and is doing fine dot paintings where Keringke artists are famous for. Her work consistantly sells, as it is bright and fresh.
