The Kakadu Plum grows from Broome to the Kakadu National Park. Indigiearth sources its Kakadu plums from a traditional family owned business in Broome. All Australian ingredients.
Kakadu Plums are the most powerful Super food among the Australian native fruits. They contain the richest source of Vitamin C of any fruit on the planet.
Also called the Gubinge, Billy-goat Plum or Murunga, the Kakadu Plum grows natively across the top end of Northern Australia. The fruit has been a traditional source of bush tucker, antiseptic and a healing remedy for Aboriginal people across Arnhem Land for thousands of years. Fruiting at the start of the dry season in May each year, the Kakadu Plum contains over 80 times the concentration found in oranges.
