Clapsticks are hand painted by artists at Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, all clapsticks are one of a kind and feature individual colours and designs.

Established in 1985 Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit organisation that is 100% Aboriginal-owned by its artists from the remote desert communities of Yuendumu and Nyirripi in Central Australia. Our main business is to promote the maintenance of local Indigenous culture by producing beautiful Aboriginal Art which is then sold around Australia and the world.

Clapsticks come as a pair (2) and are selected at random. Your preferred colour can be specified in the comments section when you complete your order but is not guaranteed.

About Warlukurlangu Artists

Warlukurlangu Artists has led the way in producing a large range of licensed products. Proceeds from the licensing agreements go directly back to the artists. Products that are licensed are sold with the name of the artist and the story for the design.

Today there designs can be found on a wide variety of items.

Please note these clapsticks are all hand painted by the artists. We do not have details of individual artists who paint them.

Breathtakingly made and beautifully painted

As much as the clapsticks look brilliant in pictures - nothing compares to holding these hand-made and painted clapsticks in your hand. Feeling the love and energy within them, and knowing these have been made and painted with love and positive intentions.

Introducing Indigenous aspects to the Infants room.

Im a room leader in an infant's room and have been trying to introduce indigenous aspects into our curriculum, very difficult with this age group. I have brought in board books with Indigenous art, scarves, bean bags..we have Aboriginal dolls, we have experimented with earth colours for them to finger paint on bark. But when I introduced these clapsticks, using them with Indigenous children's songs, they loved them!! They have really engaged with them and like to experiment with them. I have recently purchased a book through you guys and hope that I can find more quality educational items. I'm also happy that purchasing these resources means that the indigenous community benefits financially rather than a big corporation.
